highQ provides intelligent mobility for multioptional citizens. The quintessence of intelligent mobility is efficient progress, from A to B – without thinking, without needing to get tangled up in complex tariff issues. Intelligent also means clean – climate neutral. This means beyond fossil fuels. Technical conditions have finally given us the opportunity to intelligently link two once separate systems: What we are trying to do at highQ is to break down the barriers between individual transportation and public transport. We want to make it easier for people to leave their cars at home and, as a consequence, reach their destinations faster and in a more ecologically sound manner. To achieve a change in people´s behavior without simultaneously setting off a chain of inefficient regulatory procedures, the incentives need to be right as well.
We succeeded in linking the classic offers of mobility providers with urban services and marketing offers from local providers. This idea is currently being rolled out in Stuttgart, Germany, with Stuttgart Services as a pilot project of the Baden-Württemberg electro-mobility shop window. In a consortium, we have paired 23 partners from all mobility sectors, different car-sharing providers, pedelec and bike rentals, with urban services. The so-called “polygo” has been launched to 200.000 users along with a card offering an additional payment function. Multi-optionality during payment plays an important role here too.
The company´s headquarters are located in Freiburg, black forest. highQ is member of the European Association Telematics Pro e.V. as well as it is member of the EDASCA SCE (Electronic Data Automation for Smart Cloud Applications SCE), a European Cooperative Society which addresses the issues of smart city surroundings.
