We offer manufacturers, operators and authorities a comprehensive portfolio of consulting, testing, certification and training services: From planning through to installation, testing, commissioning, operation and decommissioning in the fields of signalling/rail automation, rail systems/infrastructure, rolling stock/metro and rail energy supply.
Our competencies in the conventional and high speed as well as light rail and metro area are backed by our many years of experience as independent service provider and more than 600 experts.
Furthermore we operate our own rolling stock test centre and possess proprietary testing tools for rolling stock and rail components. Also we are familiar with current European law and different national requirements. So, today we can support you in all phases of the product life cycle. Additionally we offer functional safety and industrial IT security services for rail automation and industrial systems.
As Interim Designated Body (DeBo) as well as accredited testing centre for rolling stock according to ISO 17025 and inspection body according to ISO 17020 Type A TÜV SÜD Rail can provide established processes and procedures. Our experts are approved by European and international authorities and are members of national and international committees. By means of our notified bodies TÜV SÜD Nederland B.V. (former Railcert B.V. ) and TÜV SÜD Danmark and our national partnership as Associated Partner of the German Notified Body EBC, we assess the conformity and certify the constituents and sub-systems of all technical areas according to the interoperability directives and regulations. Also most of our experts are named by the Federal Railway Authority (EBA).
