RAILWAY PASSENGER INFORMATION SYSTEMSThe origin of the Solari business dates back to the 18th century when the Solari family began to manufacture tower bell clocks. At the beginning of the 20th century Mr. Remigio Solari invented the split flap display that had a lot of success worldwide. Solari rapidly earned a reputation for technological excellence in industrial clocks and later, time management, time recording and information display systems. In 1956 Solari created the 1st Railway information system at Liegi train station. Since then, Solari has been offering customized turnkey systems and solutions, that range from equipment design and manufacture to software development, maintenance and training. The strong company experience and the full control on the process realized in Italy allow to achieve very high quality and ultimate design. More than 3000 “Information Systems” in the world have been produced by Solari.
